That is what I thought this could do, but didn’t find the details anywhere beforehand. Now I just tap that new button and it executes the command for me. What I do want to do is make one button be the same as when I hold L2 and press X. What a waste! I don’t need those 4 buttons mirrored, they are actually one of the more comfortable buttons on the controllers. I simply move the USB and it’s all set.The complaint I have is the buttons are NOT customizable! Those 4 buttons that you likely found yourself looking at this controller because of that one reason, ends up that they are programmed to mirror the L1, L2, R1 and R2 buttons.
I like the proprietary USB dongle because I don’t have to go under settings to get the controller to work when switching from pc and PlayStation. Also this one was in many articles about best controller for playstation and pc. But also because it has the extra 4 buttons on the bottom/back of the grips, like scuffs do just with a different design. It holds the extra weights and analogue stick spacers and different analog stick tops, just to give your thumbs a couple of different options (one is concave & the other is convex).The buttons are very responsive and you can feel the quality of the build when you first pick it up, added the customization and you’re very satisfied, initially at least.The main reason to have bought this is because my wife wouldn’t approve a scuff.
There’s also a small container that has a perfect slot for it built into the case. There is a netting on the inside of the lid to store the cable it comes with, which is super long with a braided nylon layer to protect it. That is what I’m holding in the third photo, the 10g weight.It comes with this nice hard outer shell case that is lined with velvety blue cloth on the inside.
You can add one of three different weights to each grip of the controller, giving you 4 different weight options (no weight, 10 grams, 14g, and 16g) to choose from. I love how this controller feels, it’s extremely comfortable and customizable.
